Hello! Thank you for dropping by, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce the purpose and aim of The Career Journals.

Q. What is TCJ all about?

The internet is filled with lots of good (and bad) advice for young people about 'careers' and 'success', however, I think it can be overwhelming and sometimes confusing. We are not all the same, we have different passions, interests, skills etc. Some people know what they want to do in life and others don't. Also, there are a lot of pressures put on young people at school and university to go after certain careers which can lead some to pursue a career that's not actually for them. I want young people to believe that they can be whoever they want to be, they don't have to follow one particular road or path.

With that in mind, the aim of The Career Journals is to inspire young people like myself to discover their passion and build meaningful careers/lives. I
will be interviewing people from different industries, professions, backgrounds and letting them share their own unique story about how they got to where they are today; the highs, the lows, the do's and don'ts and pieces of advice they would like to give to young people.

Q. Why are you aiming at young people?

I believe that us young people are the future and it is important to empower and inspire the leaders of the future. Also being a student myself, I feel that I can relate to a lot of the feelings that young people may have about starting out and building their careers. This is why I have aimed
TCJ at young people.

Q. What are you hoping to achieve with The Career Journals?

If The Career Journals inspires just one young person then to me, this blog has been a success!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
